1. How is my blog feeling today?
My blog is feeling a bit neglected. Not entirely neglected – as I have been posting a bit here and there over the past week, or so. However, with the weather being SO nice – I’ve been spending more of my time outside and less of my time at the computer. I know it misses me – and I feel bad. I do. My poor blog doesn’t deserve it. I promise to do better — someday!
2. What are some of my favorite blog tools?
WordPress – I implemented it a few weeks ago and am still lovin’ the heck out of it. One of my favorite WordPress features? The internal link management system – no more dependance upon blogrolling.com and it’s moody servers.
Another favorite blog tool is the recent referrers utility that I use from Blog Tricks. It’s not necessarily a ‘blog tool’ – but I use it on my blog, therefore it is a tool, from my perspective. It has a configurable layout (via CSS) and is faster loading than any of the other referrer scripts I’ve used in the past.
3. Share some recent blog entries here — include your own, if you like – or showcase some posts from a few favorite blogs
Daniel and his well-behaved ass.
Goldie is on her way home. Of course, I wrote that post while guest posting at Drama Queen – that counts, doesn’t it? Thank you for inviting me to guest post over at DQ, Goldie – it was fabulous fun, and definately something I’d do again 🙂
Laura is on a quest to figure out what all the fuss is about Quinton Tarantino films. She’s purchased a few and will soon write her reviews. I hope she bought Reservoir Dogs – my personal fav!
My friend, Martin, gives a whiskey review of whiskey’s he sampled at a recent whiskey / chocolate / cigar tasting. I’d rather hear about the chocolate!
Speaking of cocktails – Lori has shared some YUMMM!
Daisy would say she was navel gazing, but her boobs got in the way. We’re waiting for her to prove it with pictures! 😉
Grumpy Bunny has blooms on her liliac bush – I’m jealous!
Emma discusses the RIAA and people who put up MP3 download links on their blogs.
If you’re going to insult Linda, try not to be redundant!
UptownGirl covers Styx – remember them?
Lawren introduces us to slow food, as opposed to fast food. Slooooooowwwwwwffoooooooooddddddd….yum!
That wraps up my RE: Blogs for the week. We’ll see if I can keep this up! 🙂
Damn, I link hopped all over the place looking for boobs.
Aww, Geoff – was that misleading? 😉
Are we supposed to say “mine’s up”? Cause mine are up! *heh*
Hey, THANKS, Lisa!
Geoff, you’d need a microscope on my blog. Heh.
Aww, I pinged almost everyone. But not you. 🙁
*ping*
Lisa: It was a truffle chocolate ball and a piece of French dark nougat. The ball and Labrot & Graham’s Woodford Reserve mixed well together. For more on chocolate, read my post, THE GOOD LIFE. Have you seen Chocolate the movie?
UptownGirl: It was great to read the post on Styx. Nostalgic memories… Great template b.t.w!
All the Best,
Martin Lindeskog – American in Spirit.
Gothenburg, Sweden.
Lisa – thanks for the Linky Love!
I think I am having computer issues at home. Blog looked fine from work…weird.
Odd – – how is it looking from home now?
Martin – god that sounds absolutely heavenly! Keep talking chocolate – – that’s the way to this girls heart, ya know 😉
sweetie, you’re welcome any time you want! thak you for doing such a supremely delicious job!
Linda: Thanks for the advice! I will keep talking about sweet things in life! 🙂
Thanks for the link. I hate when people hijack my blog for their own personal agenda. They’re supposed to do that on their own blogs! 🙂
