About Me.

In May 2025, I sold my stake in a WordPress design and development agency that I co-founded in 2012, where I, along with my talented team, successfully executed on projects for clients like Viacom, Campbell Soup Company, National Basketball Association (NBA), Microsoft, Discovery Channel, National Park Service, Wharton University, Starbucks, and more.. With over two decades of experience in building and growing an agency, WordPress, web design, strategy, team building, and development, I now consult on select projects while considering my next venture.

I’m the author of WordPress For Dummies and several other books in the For Dummies™ series, helping countless individuals and businesses navigate the world of WordPress.

When I’m not immersed in the digital space, you’ll find me baking, gardening, walking my three German Shepherds (Cotton, Jax and Loki!), reading real, physical books, cheering (loudly) for the Green Bay Packers – or locally here in Green Bay as a Registered Nurse who regularly volunteers and picks up shift work to make sure I’m doing what I can to maintain my humanity in this crazy world. I don’t sit still much!

    I find the song so beautiful in its simplicity. It’s delicate, like a breeze or butterfly wings. Written in a minor key, it feels immediately like it wants to be sad, but it’s not sad. It’s hopeful and optimistic and, for me, reminiscent of things that are good in this world.
