I’m happy to be a part of Think Tank Live in February – if you’re in the Milwaukee area, I hope you’ll think about going – and if you do, be sure to seek me out to say hello!
Way cool, I’ve always wanted to go to one of these types of confrences but the entry fees aren’t in the ol’ budget. Have a blast!
Hey woman, just catching up with you, been awhile. 🙂
As usual, you’ve had a lot going on in your life with more on the agenda. Do you have your speech all written already?

Congrats! That sounds like an amazing conference. I’m sure you will enjoy speaking there and networking with others in the industry. Wish I could attend that one!
I could really benefit from a conference like this! Unfortunately I’m in Vancouver, BC…although I could probably get a cheap flight OUT of here right now!
Milwaukee is a really cool town, and I hope you enjoy your town. Congratulations on being selected to speak at this Social Media Summit. I’m sure you will impress!
Yes, you can do anything with wordpress. 🙂 But there are so many social networking sites and build-your-own-social-group products already out there that I wonder if wordpress is really the right community. I mean, you can just create a new group of facebook if you’re in a hurry.
Damn I wished I lived in US! I would love to go to one of these conferences! Does anyone know if this will be posted online?
Thanks
Joe
Very cool! I knew David was going to be speaking there, but didn’t realize you were! I’ll be sure to catch your speech while I’m there!
It is a good thing I found this post. I usually don’t want to go to any of the events because they cost a fortune. I hear that you can meet great like-minded people and make great connections but the cost always bothers me. I think I am actually going to look into this one! Maybe I will see you there. It would be great if you could actually create a list of inexpensive industry events like this.
The development of wordpress.org sites using Buddypress certainly opens up some really good opportunities. Obviously not every niche is right for socially interactive sites but there are many that will be able to attract a lot more attention, and retain visitors if they do this right.
