Here is an excellent guide to follow for tweaking your Home or Pro version of XP.
I was directed to that link this morning, by Chelle who, by the way, doesn’t have a blog anymore and I’m going through some serious wildheartwithdrawl. Bitch.

You know, Mac OS X is very “tweakable” also 🙂
You’re stalking me!
That’s some awesome stuff, Lisa and yes, I also run a Mac OS X box…but then I don’t have to tweak it to the degree that the Micro$oft box(s)(all 5 of them)requires…
Ooh! I haven’t been to that link in a long time. He’s got New Stuff. This is very cool.
Lisa, I hope you have a good firewall running, yes? And you’ve disabled Universal Plug’n’Pray (er…) play?
Here’s another invaluable site: http://www.grc.com. Do not walk, run over there! 🙂
Wow – you guys are real geeks, aren’t you? 😉
I’m not all that geeky – but I do like a smooth running OS – the only Linux I’m interested in running is already on my webserver box 🙂
Casey – when I do a fresh install – complete with reformatting – my number one priority is to load up my Zone Alarm. And yea – I disabled the Plug & Pray. And thank you for the link – I’m running (sprinting) over to it right now 🙂
By the way I’m testing your site with Lindows 4.5 and their version of Mozilla (1.5) and everything seems to be working fine. FWIW. 🙂
Cross-browser compatibility. Cool 🙂 I had tested it in FireFox and Netscape, but good to know it works elsewhere too. Thanks! 🙂
