Taking The Plunge

lsw-x

This is it. My last post as a single woman. We’re leaving early, early tomorrow for New York and a week from Saturday – – I’ll officially be a Mrs.

Freaky – but cool.

The last 6 years I’ve known Chris have been the happiest years in my entire adult life. With him, I am happy, secure and settled. I cannot (and do not want to) imagine my life without him right by my side. He is my best friend, as well as my lover – that is a combination you just can’t beat. He is SO sexy, handsome and loving and has the most fantastic ability to make me feel every single inch a lady. While the next few weeks will surely be me walking on the proverbial “Cloud 9” – – I’m also very much firmly planted in reality and know I’m going into this with zero reservations and doubts and know, without a single hesitation, that my decision to accept his proposal of marriage and spend the rest of my life with Chris is the best thing I could ever do.

I am SO looking forward to marrying this man – I wish it were happening tomorrow. But, I’ve waited 6 years.. I guess I can wait another week at this point.

More than that – I look forward to spending my life with him. After the events of our wedding and honeymoon have passed… I’m looking foward to growing old with him, sharing my life with him.

Not so much ‘just a girl in the world’ anymore – but, rather – – ‘the luckiest girl in the world’

Have a FANTASIC next three weeks without me here – I do not plan on blogging a single second of the next three weeks. I will, however, return with pictures and a complete ‘tell-all’ of our adventures in New York and Bonaire.

Happy June, everyone!
