Last night – – we bought this.
By the time we got it put together and set up – it was too late in the night to use it. However, today – when I got home from work, I spent 20 minutes on the thing, and now I have chest pain. My goal is to drop a good 10-15 pounds in the next 30 days.
We went back and forth over buying this thing – – or getting a membership at the local club. I used to have a membership there – – and used it quite often, actually. I bought a family membership, and the kids and I went 2-3 times a week. I worked out – – they swam or played basketball in the gym.
These days, however – – the kids are in their own sports programs after school. They have practice everyday until about 7pm at night — and they have dinner and homework to do when they get home, before bedtime — so there’s no time for them to join me at the club.
Plus, I’m kind of a home person. I’d be more motivated to exercise at home than I would be to go to a club for a few hours. I’m convinced this won’t turn into a dust collector! lol
20-30 minutes a day is my goal, for now – – and as soon as I get over the chest pain and shortness of breath . . . I’ll work up to an hour at a time.
