Today, I was supposed to be shopping with Leanne. But because Chris was gone out of town all week – – he didn’t get a chance to go shopping at all – – and since this is the last weekend before Christmas, he needed me to go shopping with him this weekend. I guess Leanne and I will have to get together for those after-holiday sales.. that is, if she forgives me for ditching her this weekend so I could help Chris with his shopping instead?
It’s the after shopping activities that I’m looking foward to!! We’re filling up our 3 thermoses with piping hot cocoa, packing up our skis and snowboards and headed to the skihill for the rest of the night! We’ll ski for a few hours – – take a break for beer and pizza – – ski for a few more hours.. sip our hot cocoa and leave all our worries behind for a small window of time. I can’t wait 🙂
