Ripped this off from rachel – who ripped it from Michael, who stole it from his sister. Why not? Been awhile since I’ve done something of the kind.

What is the geekiest part of your music collection?

Every single Pink Floyd album. Personally, I think it’s awesome. A friend of mine once informed me that Pink Floyd fans are geeks. Is this true?

What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?

Haagen Daaz Coffee Ice Cream. Or – a Nature Valley Granola Bar with a huge glass of cold milk.

What is your secret guaranteed crying movie?

When A Man Loves A Woman with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia. I don’t connect at all with the alcoholism or chemical dependence issues in this film. What tugs at my heart is the passionate way this man tries hard to hold his family together.

If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?

Nose job, no question.

Do you have a completely irrational fear?

That it’s irrational is a matter of opinion. Swimming in ocean water.

What’s the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moment?

I chew on my bottom lip.

Are you a pyromaniac?

Not usually.

Do you have too many love interests?

Love interests? If speaking of the emotion of love – can one have too many?
If speaking of romantic love – – I just have one. He’s all I need.

Do you know anyone famous?

I once shook President Reagan’s hand after having lunch with him and about 50 other people – but I don’t know him. I once gave a cigarette to Bruce Willis at Chicago’s O’Hare airport because he left his in his suitcase – but I don’t know him. Can’t say I know anyone famous, nope.

Describe your bed.

California King sized bed. Fluffy pillow top mattress with box spring that sits on a pedestal frame with 4 posts – when I sit on the edge of it, I my feet don’t touch the floor. Egyptian cotton sheets are a MUST along with the feather duvet and tons and tons of pillows that usually end up on the floor by morning.

Spontaneous or plan?

Both.

Do you know how to play poker?

Is water wet? Oh yea!

What do you carry with you at all times?

Cash, credit card, cell phone, pager, keys and lip gloss.

What do you miss most about being little?

Mom doing my laundry. She refuses to do it these days.

Are you happy with your given name?

Yep. Mom told me that if I would have been a boy, my name would have been “Geoff’. I’m glad I’m a girl.

How much money would it take for you to give up the Internet for a year?

It’s about equal to the national debt, I would think.

What color is your bedroom?

Cream & beige walls. Everything else is color, color, color!

What was the last song you were listening to?

“One Flight Down” – Norah Jones

Have you ever been in a play?

Too many to count. I used to do summer stock theater every year – – until I got a life and a job.

Have you ever been in love?

A few times.

Do you talk a lot?

No. I’m the silent type, mostly – unless there’s tequila involved.

Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?

You bet I do.

Do transient, homeless or starving people sometimes annoy you?

No.

Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?

The majority of the time, yea.

Do you spend more time with your husband, or your friends?

I don’t have a husband…so I guess it would be friends. I do spend most of my time with Chris, though – I think you could call him my friend – among other things.

What’s your ideal wedding location?

Standing next to my would-be husband.

Which musical instrument do you play?

Piano. Violin. Voice.

Favorite fabric?

Purple silk.

Do you tell your friends about your sex life?

Rarely.

What’s the one language you want to learn?

Italian. Japanese.

How do you eat an apple?

I cut pieces off with a knife – then discard the core.

What do you order at a bar?

Cosmopolitan or a Bloody Mary with a chaser.

Have you ever pierced a body part?

I pierced my own ears when I was 16.

Do you have tattoos?

Yes – in a very discrete place on my bod.

Would you admit to plastic surgery of any kind of confronted?

If I ever had it – maybe. Depends on who I’m talking to.

What’s one of the funniest things you’ve ever done?

Why is it when you’re asked a question like this, you can never think of anything – leading you to believe that you are one flippin’ unfunny person?

Do you drive a stick?

Not unless I have to.

What’s the one trait you hate in a person?

Jealousy. (that’s just one – – there are others)

What kind of watch do you wear?

Liz Claiborne’s name is on it – – it keeps good time. That’s about all I know.

Most frivolous purchase?

I have lots of frivolous things. In the last year? The $600 espresso machine is something I thought was pretty frivolous – but quickly became a much needed appliance in this house!

What do you cook the best?

Lasagna. People beg for it.

Favorite writing instrument?

A very, very sharp #2 pencil.

Do you prefer to stand out, or blend in?

Blend in. I’m a watcher of people. I’ll stand out if I feel I need to.

What’s one car you will never buy?

A Minivan.

What kinds of books do you like to read?

Biographies. Current Events. Mysteries.

If you won the lottery, what would you do?

Travel. Shop. Give some to family and friends. Did I mention shop?

Burial, or cremation?

Cremation.

How many online journals do you read regularly?

There are about 5 that I read daily. About a dozen, or so that I read weekly. And about 20 or 30 others that I once a month, or so.

Do you have a problem changing clothes in front of friends?

Nope.
