It's broke!

lsw-x

My toe that is. On my left foot . . . the one to the right of the little toe. It’s all kinds of shades of purple, blue and black!

I was walking through the bedroom and cracked it HARD on the leg of the coffee table. The pain was almost as great as child birth. Seriously! I screamed so loud – everyone in the house came running, and I’m pretty sure my kids heard words come out of their mother’s mouth that even THEY have never heard before!

OHMYGODITHURTSOMUCH!

I’m wondering how I’m supposed to ski with a broken toe that hurts so much I can’t even put on a tennis shoe, much less a ski boot! Leanne’s hubby, Mark, told me that all I need to do is get it out there – and once it gets frozen, I won’t feel a thing.

Maybe. But in the meantime…. OW!

  1. We had a saying about that back when I was practicing Tae Kwon Do…
    It turns blue…
    Then it turns black…
Then you shake it out of your sock.
    >:):d

Looks like you’re going to just have to sit in the chalet and enjoy a few bloody marys, Lisa…

  2. I broke a toe once as a result of going out into the shop when I was dressed for office work. The 1-1/4″ steel plate only fell a couple of inches but I was wearing Chuckie Taylors instead of steel-toed boots. They heard my scream over all the machinery.
