7 Hours In Aruba
We honeymooned from 6/25 – 7/7 in Bonaire, South America.. it’s a small island that is part of the Dutch Antilles. (Part of the “ABC” islands: Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao). It was really a beautiful trip. We started out in Newark and flew direct to Aruba, where we had a 7 hour layover. Wedding Photos
I was thrilled to receive the official wedding pictures from our photographer today in the mail! FINALLY, a month after the wedding, we were able to sit back and enjoy the DVD that he sent of almost 700 pictures from our wedding. Don’t worry! I won’t share all 700 of them here with you and bore you with wedding pictures from now until the end of the year (whew, right?) – but I do have a few that are my favs that I want to post here, eventually. I Barely Even Noticed The Rain
The day couldn’t have been more perfect. After the ceremony, someone mentioned the rain. I barely noticed. . . The most perfect day in my life. Hands down. (These photos came from one of the several disposable cameras that our guests were using to take photos. I haven’t received the official photography from our photographer, yet – – but will share a photo album when I do.) Normal posting may resume here one of these days. We’re still trying to reorganize life over here after being gone for almost an entire month of celebrations and travel.
Taking The Plunge
This is it. My last post as a single woman. We’re leaving early, early tomorrow for New York and a week from Saturday – – I’ll officially be a Mrs. Freaky – but cool. The last 6 years I’ve known Chris have been the happiest years in my entire adult life. With him, I am happy, secure and settled. Losing My Mind
Why didn’t anyone advise me to elope? Let me just say – I could NEVER be a wedding planner (ala’ J-Lo). All the nit picky little details have my brain spinning! We’re leaving for NY in two days. Pulling together a wedding in New York from Wisconsin is no small feat, let me just say. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone! Home Stretch
I have a week to go before we leave for NY – then a week after that.. the wedding! I’m sure my blogging will get back to normal (whatever normal is) after I return from the honeymoon – – I’m thinking, breathing, eating, sleeping wedding plans these days..
