Upright and breathing

Since returning from our honeymoon last month, blogging here has been light, at best. I’ve gotten a few emails asking if I’m ever going to start blogging here regularly again. It seems since my return, I have very little time on my hands for actual blogging – – I’ve been mostly posting pictures and such. To say the least, things have been downright hectic and busy around these parts. I love blogging – and really enjoy the interaction . . . but this blog is low on my list of priorities at the moment. Back in March – I went […]

Losing My Mind

Why didn’t anyone advise me to elope? Let me just say – I could NEVER be a wedding planner (ala’ J-Lo). All the nit picky little details have my brain spinning! We’re leaving for NY in two days. Pulling together a wedding in New York from Wisconsin is no small feat, let me just say. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone! However, considering that all the plans are set and done – – all those nit picky little details have been attended to and everyone and everything is in place for this to happen – I’m really excited and looking […]

Monday..Monday

19 days, and counting…. the wedding is right around the corner, can you believe it??? I picked up our wedding rings yesterday. We got them about a month ago, but they needed serious sizing – – mine was too small and his was too big. Now, they are both just right. Just gotta make sure we don’t lose ’em between here and New York! Question I get a lot these days? “Are you nervous??” The answer is two-fold. About marriage? No. About the actual wedding event? Yes! When you throw a shin-dig like this, there is always a bit of […]

I'm Starving!

I CANNOT believe it’s 1:30 in the afternoon! I swear, I am on hiatus, but working harder than ever. Just launched a cute new blog for Amy today called Kvetch Blog – – moved her off Blogger onto her own WordPress blog hosted at Blogs About. She was great fun to work with and I’m looking forward to reading her kvetches. More new site launches coming up this week – at SOME point I will unbury myself from this pile I’m hiding under. It’s 1:30 and I haven’t eaten lunch yet. Since I’ve been on this diet and workout regieme […]

Whew! That's all I gotta say!

Major goings on! Today, E.Webscapes hit site number 400 in our portfolio! That kind of struck me as … Wow! Considering this time last year we were sitting at about 120. That means we’ve knocked out over 375+ sites in the last year and just kicked some major butt in the blogosphere, and back! I’m really proud of that – and so I raise my glass to the blogoshpere and I look forward to the opportunity to do 400 more! Many, many thanks to all of our great clients for working with us and giving us the opportunity to create […]

Post-Austin Blues

I‘m not entirely sure what is in the air in Austin – but I’ve come home from Austin with a 102.6 degree fever, a gross cough, congestion, body aches, pains and generally feeling just absolutely awful! It started to crop up a few hours before our panel, and luckily it did not really hit me hard until a few hours after our panel – – but unfortunately, cut my night with Danalynn and her husband, Kyle, short. 🙁 Sure, sure – the one night I go out to have fun in MONTHS – I get struck down with some horrid […]

I made it!

I made it! Originally uploaded by LSRN94. The three hour flight from Milwaukee to Houston was a nail biter the whole way. You know the kind of turbulance that lifts your ass a foot off your seat? Yep – I had three straight hours of that, with no let up. But I’m here — all checked in and signed up for the conference and am rarin’ to go. Since I arrived pretty early (yesterday) – I took the opportunity to hit the shopping malls in Austin. What kind of girl would I be if I didn’t, I ask? The weather […]

Nervous About Flying.. Me?

So, yea… in about 9 hours, I’ll be on a plane headed towards Austin to do my part at SXSW Interactive. If you’ve been reading me for any amount of time, you all know that I would rather peel my fingernails off and dip my fingers in salt water than get on a plane and fly anywhere. Somehow, I manage. I think it’s the 3 Benadryl’s with a Martini chaser that gets me through. As nervous as I am about flying, I’m excited and really looking forward to this thing. I get to buy a round of drinks for Peter, […]

SXSW Interactive – One week to go.

Public speaking really isn’t my bag, ya know. I’ve done it at various times in my lifetime, when I’ve had to – but usually never voluntarily. Though, when I was in high school and college – I was in all those public speaking type deals like the debate club, forensics – – and even the drama club and have umpteen gazillion plays and musicals under my belt. In addition – many years of singing in various different bands. So obviously, there is a part of me somewhere deep inside that does not fear the stage and embraces the spotlight. What […]
