I’m in the process of reading ‘The DaVinci Code’ by Dan Brown.
I can’t put it down. Between long shifts at work…tons of web work – – I can’t put this book down for a minute, in between all of that. I love the premise of the book and enjoy the way the author interweaves fact with fiction in a way that weaves a real thriller of a mystery.
A decade and a half ago – I would have had a real issue with this book, considering my catholic roots and beliefs in chrisitanity. Today, however – I find it utterly intriguing.
And don’t you dare tell me how it ends! I’m about 3/4 of the way through ๐
It turns out that Darth Vader is Da Vinci’s father. Imagine that. ๐
It ends with a period, as do most books.
Is this not a great book? I’ve read everything by the author and this and “Angels & Demons” are by far the best. The only minor beef I have with the author is sometimes when he writes about technology (vs. art history or symbology) he gets a little outlandish.
The big boat sinks, and Leonardo DiCaprio dies.
I loved that book-I thought it was fantastic! I was not as huge on his “Deception Point”, but MAN was DaVinci Code fantastic!
It truly is a fantastic book! I also have Angels & Demons, but have yet to sit down & read it.

Is that because you have abandoned them? Just asking.
The book, while an exciting read in its own right, is all rubbish, by the way.
