A Style Contest by the developers of Six Apart (of Movable Type fame) have opened up a style contest for designers who want to try their hand at developing standard styles for Movable Type, TypePad and/or Live Journal. SXSW Interactive – One week to go.
Public speaking really isn’t my bag, ya know. I’ve done it at various times in my lifetime, when I’ve had to – but usually never voluntarily. Though, when I was in high school and college – I was in all those public speaking type deals like the debate club, forensics – – and even the drama club and have umpteen gazillion plays and musicals under my belt. Yea. Bleep. It’s a cross between blog and sleep. Bleep happens when you’re working long, hard hours at blog designs for your clients and then you lay down at night to go to sleep and you have dreams about those blogs. Well, hey – at least I’m sleeping 😀

I have nothing against Weblog Awards. They can be fun. It gives the nominees and finalists fun things to blog about for a month. It can give the illusion of popularity, acceptance and greatness (for whatever it’s worth). It’s all good. I hope everyone who wants to win..wins!
