WordPress 1.5.1

A new upgrade for WordPress – version 1.5.1 was released yesterday. You can find it and download it here, at the WordPress development blog.

Their documentation team put together a change log, so you can read about the changes in this new version. In Matt’s words from the development site:

this release has a ton of bug fixes, enhancements, and an important security fix. (Thanks again to Thomas Waldegger.) Plugin authors especially will love all the new API hooks and functionality we added to make advanced extensions to WordPress even easier. As a user you’ll find WordPress will run faster and make the world an even better place. Many thanks go out to our amazing testing and development team, who together squashed over 170 bugs!

Today, I upgraded all of my sites that run WordPress – and the upgrade was painless.

WordPress, being my favorite, and most recommended, blogging platform – I was thrilled to see WordPress covered in this months release of Popular Science.

Kudos!

Thanks to the team at WordPress – for all that you do!

  1. WP absolutly kicks butt as the best blog platform out there, hands down.
