Rance, who?

Apparently, the internet is all a buzz about this Rance person.

The media are speculating that the person behind the blog is Ben Affleck, George Clooney, or Jim Carrey.

In the blog’s first-ever post last December, Rance introduced himself this way: “Suffice it to say I know what its like to see your picture on the magazine rack every now and again when you pay for groceries.”

Rance’s blog has since spawned a furious guessing game on the Internet and beyond, becoming a regular topic at Hollywood parties.

In communications with news agencies – “Rance” uses dead end email addresses and false information, but is still willing to give interviews via email. Sounds like some pimply faced Hollywood hot shot wannabe, to me. Hey, if a person – famous actor, or not – can’t put their face to a name when being called out, then the credibility is gone. However, after reading “Rance’s” blog – I can’t imagine he/she is very much concerned about credibility.

The blog, itself, is a pretty good read – - some very funny parts…others somewhat disturbing. My vote is that it’s Ben Affleck – - the guy needs an outlet after being dumped by the infamous J-Lo.

  1. It’s incredibly easy to invent an identity on the Internet. Next thing you know, you’re world-famous.

  2. I’d also heard John Cusack may be the writer. I told him it wouldn’t be long until he was found out. I guess he hasn’t necessarily been outted, but hollyweird is abuzz about it.

  3. Personally I don’t think it would be a movie star or anyone like that – I mean would they really use Tripod?? Come on. And do they really have the time? I think it is a teeny bopper asshat who is lying.

  4. Didnt ben dump jen?

  5. :oops: :roll::evil:
