We moved into this house at the beginning of June. It was a great find and we’ve been happily settling into it over the past few months. No small task, let me just say.
I love the house and settling in hasn’t been too difficult at all – - it felt like home shortly after the big move-in. I love everything about it. However, it wasn’t until this evening that I truly appreciated every aspect of it.
Tonight it’s extremely cold and windy. I spent the early part of the evening at my daughters track meet (they won!) and I was freezing through the whole thing. I got home – - we ate dinner then I came downstairs into my bedroom and used the fireplace that’s been sitting vacant all summer long. Talk about instant heat! I don’t think I’ll ever move from this room all winter long!
