Dennis Miller Kissed Me

So, I had this dream last night. I totally blame it on the fact that I fell asleep with 24 hours cable news playing in the background. In the dream, Chris – my husband, is running for President (forget the fact that he’s not from this country and couldn’t even if he wanted to!). He holds nightly advisory meetings in our kitchen with his group of political advisers. Those advisers were:

  1. Barack Obama
  2. Fred Thompson
  3. Chelsea Clinton
  4. Dennis Miller

In my dream last night, they were all in the kitchen doing their strategic planning while I was in my office designing a website (go figure). There was a knock at the front door, but before I answered it – I called my friend Leanne and told her that my husband was running for President, to which she responded, “Wonderful – did you go to my blog and see the picture I posted today?“. I go look – tell her the picture is cute, and then run to answer the door.

At the door was Hillary Clinton – who stopped by to bring Chelsea her bag lunch (with her name written on it and everything). I grab the lunch and deliver it to Chelsea.

Then I go into the kitchen to get myself a Diet Coke, and Dennis Miller follows me in.

We’re alone. He’s stands really close to me and then puts his arms around me and pulls me against his body and whispers this in my ear…

“I don’t think any child should be allowed to graduate high school before they have a full understanding of the Social Security system.”

Then he kissed me. Passionately.

That’s when I woke up with a new found interest in Dennis Miller. In my dreams, he was an awesome kisser.

  1. That’s one heck of a strange dream – I always knew politics was shady business!

  2. Nice dream. Did you go to my blog and read my post today?

    :-w

  3. I actually did – but only after fielding phone calls from D.C. =))

  4. Michael – that’s what I was thinking! It has to be the politics that is strange.. because I can’t imagine WHY I’d be turned on by Dennis Miller whispering about social security in my ear! :o

  5. Sounds like quite the interesting dream, nice blog you’ve got here — it’s bookmarked!

  6. What a strange dream. Politics, a field I seriously stink in lol

  7. That sure is a strange group of advisors. And how can Chelsea Clinton be in both our dreams on the same night? She probably looked way hotter in mine.

  8. Chelsea is moonlighting, Dave – that can be the only explanation. But I’m relieved to hear that Dennis Miller didn’t kiss YOU too! :*

  9. See how good I’m being not commenting at all on this????? o:-)

  10. I noticed! I’ve been wondering if you’ve been feeling ill? ;) )

  11. Now you understand why I think Dennis Miller is hot. :)

  12. You think Dennis Miller is hot because he tries to make out with Lisa in her kitchen?????:-?

  13. Let’s just get this straight.. Dennis Miller didn’t try – he had me at hello. :p

And if I may speak for Chelle – he’s hot because he is a very rare man who can pull of sexy and social security simultaneously. :x

  14. Uh huh. And do you two normally cruise the nursing homes looking for this combo????:p

  15. Ha! I didn’t say sexy and ON social security, did I? :-j

  16. He’s quirky & smart in ways that few comprehend regardless of any politics involved. And to a few of us, that is drop dead sexy. Strange as we may be. :D

Lisa, he had you from hello?! Why, considering my years long fascination with Dennis have I never had that kind of Dennis dream? It’s just not fair! :( (

  17. Chelle – some girls have all the luck. :”>
