Back to school

Quote of the day?

“freshmen are the most annoying…. things. i swear they get more and more cocky every year”

This bit of wisdom is brought to you by a teenage girl who is 2 whole days into her sophmore year of high school. Heh.

I’ve been under the weather. Down and out. Sick and tired (literally sick and tired).

I’m behind on email. I apologize. Tonight is my mass-emailing night to get myself caught up.

In the meantime – have a look at my new photoblog – - well, it’s not new, really. I’ve had it since June 2005. Up until very recently it was powered by WordPress. Which, everyone knows I love WordPress as a blogging application and CMS – but for use as a photoblog? I haven’t found an easy, brainless way to have it do what I want it to do. I’m using PixelPost to power it now. I had a recent client who wanted PixelPost installed for them – and after doing his installation and set up, I figured I’d give it a try for my photoblog and love it. I did the template for it, tweaked it here and there to give it a little life. I totally wiped my WordPress install and started this thing from scratch – saved as many photos and comments as I cared to – - but for the most part, from scratch.

Ok. I’m hitting my email box now. I’ll get caught up by dinnertime. Swear.

  1. My son is a sophomore this year too, it’s amazing what a difference that makes in their attitude toward school!

    Hope you’re feeling better!

  2. Haha, I remember saying stuff like that Sophomore year. It’s just something you have to do to make yourself “not a freshman” anymore.

  3. Well, you have to be doing better at getting caught up on your e-mails than the Packers do at football… :x
